Orchestra Innova
Our Vision
Orchestra Innova is a new orchestra made up of the newest generation of musicians, and it is dedicated to music here and now— music of the present, revitalized, and music of the past, seen through new eyes. The orchestra works to make music new by approaching all aspects of orchestral music from a new perspective: innovating concert formats and experiences, programming creatively, and playing music, old and new, with the energy, passion, and commitment of a new generation of musicians. It aims to make contemporary music not just accessible but enjoyable and engaging, and to probe repertoire of the past in order to find what it has to tell us in the 21st century. It aims to create new and engaging concert experiences featuring diverse styles and ensembles, to connect with audiences where they are, and to craft a more dynamic and democratic version of orchestral music.
Orchestra Innova has led an exciting inaugural season, featuring Beethoven, Shostakovich, Debussy, and Pérotin, and looks forward to a full 25/26 season.
